Congratulations India! We did it!

1 Billion Vaccines.
Congratulations

1 billion vaccinations is no mean task. India, under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has achieved this milestone in just 279 days.

To commemorate this momentous occasion and as a befitting tribute to the relentless contribution of our frontline warriors, SpiceJet has designed a special livery on three of its Boeing 737 aircraft.

As the world looks up to India, we will also hold our head up in pride. After all, we have played a significant role in this war against Covid-19. The exceptional contribution of the frontline workers and corona warriors of SpiceJet and SpiceHealth deserves special mention.

Our pilot, cabin crew and ground staff have performed their duties bravely by ensuring that flights keep flying. Our Cargo division played a critical role in ensuring that vital trade routes between India and other countries remained intact. The airline operated around 26,300 cargo flights since March, 2020 and transported around 200,000 tonnes of cargo, of which 338.9 tonnes were vaccines.

The special livery was unveiled at a grand event graced by Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon'ble Minister and Shri Ajay Singh, Chairman, SpiceJet at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport today. The livery includes an image of the Hon'ble Prime Minister and healthcare workers.

Thus unfurled a day that marked a milestone not just because of numbers but the celebration of the spirit and sheer power of a whole nation in overcoming all odds.
