Moms are the true rockstars of any home but as a dad of two young & immensely active boys, in all modesty I would say that Dads come close.
The last year, with its closed door confinement, has been challenging for everyone. Office calls have been conducted over kids demanding attention, realization has dawned on how tough it is to get 'rotis' rolled into a circle. 'Me-time' with friends has turned into Zoom time at the dining table. To all the dads who have been at it my congratulations - you did good!
As a dad, my heart is full this Father's Day. I wanted to share with you one of my personal struggles. Over the year, I tried to get my sons interested in reading books. Unfortunately, they just viewed it as an added 'school work' to their 7 hours or so of online classes. This got me thinking. And when you have an industrial grade printer at work coupled with a team of curious product enthusiasts as colleagues, you create a set of personalized story books in their names. From the first time my kids saw their names they were hooked. Thus was born the idea of creating Zooboo – an effort to make reading more engaging & fun for all kids.
Our aim is to make personalized books more affordable & accessible to parents and kids all over. We are happy to have you as a part of the Zooboo family & are hopeful for what the future holds. I also hope that Zooboo storybooks continue to help all Dads' to spend quality time with their kids and in the process also raise budding bookworms.
Today, whether your heart is joyous or heavy (or a combination of the two), I wish you a meaningful Father's Day.
